Drawing ~ The Next Level
Ages: 12 – Adult
Dates: Each Thursday 2/22/18 through 4/26/18
Time: 10:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 per 2-1/2 hour session paid weekly
This class is for is for the serious drawing student who would like to refine their drawing experience and ability. Students will work individually and at their own pace by drawing their own pair of shoes or boots from life. After the initial project is complete they will have the choice to go on to another subject of their choosing from life. Students will get to choose their drawing medium on each project depending on past experience. Mediums include graphite pencil and colored pencil. Drawing ~ Next Level Supply List
The following items are available at United Art and Education, Michaels, Hobby Lobby or online at Jerrys Artarama, Blick Studio, Amazon.com etc:
*14” x 17” Strathmore Bristol paper pad, 100 lb.
*18″ x 18” (at least) drawing clip board
*White Plastic Eraser
*Pentel Click type eraser (like a mechanical pencil but it’s an eraser), there are various sizes available and the more the better!
*Gray kneaded eraser preferably Design brand.
* Drawing pencil set that include pencils ranging from several grades of B pencils and several grades of F pencils plus all in between. I recommend Derwent, General’s or Kimberly.
*pencil sharpener, preferably the type that collects and holds the shavings.
*Alvin duster brush for clean up or a large make up brush is also nice for this.
*If working in colored pencils Prismacolor Premier is my colored pencil of choice.
